In 1993, during the collapse of the Soviet Union, our parents immigrated to the United States from Siberia with little more than $100 and a few suitcases. They arrived at Portland International Airport with two children in tow and me on the way, uncertain of their next steps. Fortunately, a generous family took us in and provided sponsorship, giving us the foundation we needed as our father found work laying brick.

The story of Riverview Construction, however, begins even earlier. In Siberia, our mother earned her degree in Architectural Engineering, instilling a passion for building that has carried through to today. From those humble beginnings, we’ve built our business on the values of resilience, hard work, and giving back to others. We know firsthand what it’s like to start with nothing and to create something meaningful.

Decades later, we launched Riverview Construction, named after the first home our family lived in—a small house in Vancouver, Washington, with a “river view.” Those early experiences shaped who we are, and today, we remain committed to maintaining that same sense of humility and service, always striving to bring the highest value to our clients.
